Last question before we begin taking measurements. What's your measurement tape preference? Standard or Metric?

Now let's begin by measuring your waist

Located just above the belly button, just below the rib cage. Here is also how you locate your waist line, bend to one side either left or right and find natural crease of your waist. Place the measuring tape around your entire waist on this crease line.

Now let's measure your hips

With heels together, position the measuring tape so that it covers the widest part of the hips.

Third measurement I need is the size of your bust

Position the measuring tape so that it covers the widest part of your back and the fullest part of your bust (breast).

Just before we are done, let's measure the length of your sleeve

Place the measuring tape from the tip of your shoulder all the way to your arm's wrist and record this measurement.

Now we need to measure your shoulder length

Stand against the mirror with shoulder straight and place the measurement tape from the tip of your left shoulder to the tip of your right shoulder and record the tape measurement

If you wear skirts, this is for you.

Place the measuring tape from your waist all the way to your knees and record the measurement. This is your skirt length.

If you wear pants, and we all as women do, let's measure your inseam,

You will either need to get help for this measurement or do the following. Place the measurement tape on the floor to the right of your right foot and then run the tape under your foot and from its tip pull the tape upwards until it touches your vagina. Stop right there and read the measuring tape off the floor level.

Now we are almost done, this is the last but not least measurement. This is a very important measurement and it's called "hollow to hem".

Standing flat on the floor with both feet together have someone measure from the hollow point at the neck to the floor.
